Hello Gorgeous Ladies,
October as you probably may know is Breast Cancer awareness month and there have been many inspiring and thoughtful blogs. What I love about women is... we may have a bitch sometimes but we are fabulous when we come together. Sure God created man before woman. But then you always make a rough draft before the final masterpiece, hehe!
Breast Cancer is the most common form of cancer among women, with 1 in 8 women developing the disease in their lifetime. Always check your boobies’ ladies! Tomorrow is wear pink day in the UK for breast cancer awareness, here I am showing my support with my pink passion makeover. So if you can’t wear pink clothes to work, wear a pink lippy and tell everyone why!
I went for a very simple style with a hint of funk with some blush lippy. My pink fluffy top and necklace is from Primark. :)
Products I have used:
- Even Better Clinique Foundation
- French Champagne eyeshadow Clinique
- No7 Pink eyeshadow
- High Impact Black Mascara Clinique
- Black diamond crème shaper Clinique
- Rose Dragee Blush Dior
- 320 Funtime Fuchsia Rimmel Lipstick
A bit about Moi
I am real girl. I like to buy the enormous bag of cadburys chocolate buttons and eat the entire packet whilst watching an episdoe of Come Dine with Me. But like 4 times a week, eek! Therefore my non exsistent exercise routine and eating the wrong things has caught up on me. I also get ill and tired a lot. So from Monday I started cutting out my crap snacks and have joined 2 exercise classes. Oh and I stuck this photograph to my fridge!
Eating healthy…that’s easy, but it just doesn’t fill me up! Then all I can think about is a chicken nugget meal and a cosmopolitan cocktail. Also I haven't had breakfast since I was 16 and I use to have Mummy's bacon sandwhiches, so can't do that, and I don’t like cereal. What's a girl to do?
Any ideas on healthy food that’s filling? Or breakfast ideas?
4 days in...my 94 chins are decreasing and my belly is slightly flatter.
Sending big cuddles to everyone! xxxx
O wowwww you look great and that necklace is lovely!
ReplyDeleteHey Hannah! First of all, kudos to you for blogging about breast cancer awareness month! My grandma died of that when I was a baby.
ReplyDeleteSecond, kudos to getting in shape! I know what you mean, I'm definatley not as shapey/fit as my sister, which I should be since I'm younger.
She lifts weights and she looks fantastic! She also has a blog, but hers is a food blog. The main thing is to fill up on a lot of fiber (cauliflower, wheat bread, oatmeal, cabbage etc) along with protein which builds muscle.
You can check out some of her recipes here: www.foodsofapril.com
And you can modify whatever :) good luck!
Way to go on starting a new healthy eating plan!!
ReplyDeleteBreakfast is SO important (yes I'm sure you hear that allll the time, blah blah blah) but it really is. It gets your metabolism revved up for the day. I like protein in the a.m. to keep me going....
How about toast and peanut butter, or Fresh fruit and a bowl of cottage cheese. Two poached or scrambled eggs with salsa (that's very popular where I live), a breakfast burrito- scrambled eggs, salsa, cheddar cheese and a bit of bacon in a tortilla wrap. Or how about some porridge (oatmeal) with a sprinkle of cranberries, raisins, and brown sugar. I could go on and on....I'm all about breakfast (though I wasn't for YEARS...i actually had no appetite in the morning) but now I make a point of eating breaky!
Han, I'll come and watch Come Dine with me with you and eat your chocolate for you if you like??
ReplyDeleteAlso you a mad woman going to spin class!! :-)

Wonderful blog! I love it! At one time I wanted to be a makeup artist, but my hands shake. It always looks so simple, but when I'm done it looks like a 4 year old did my makeup.
